How to Apply to GU-Q
Applications for Fall 2027 open on August 1, 2026

The Early Action program is designed to enable exceptional students to learn of their admission status early in their senior year. The Admissions Committee will primarily focus on a student’s academic performance and personal achievements through the end of the junior year in high school.
Applications for Fall 2027 open on August 1, 2026.
Key Details
How does Early Action work?
Applying via Early Action assures your place at GU-Q while offering you the freedom to choose among colleges throughout the enrollment reply process.
If you apply via Early Action, you should not apply to binding Early Decision programs at other institutions, which would prevent you from choosing Georgetown if admitted. Simultaneous applications to non-binding Early Action or Regular Decision programs are allowed.
Candidates not admitted under the Early Action program will be considered for Regular Decision as well. There is no statistical advantage in applying Early Action, as both the Early Action and Regular Decision pools will have roughly the same acceptance rate.
Am I eligible?
You are eligible for Early Action if you are not currently enrolled in another undergraduate degree program. Transfer applicants are not eligible to apply for Early Action and will have the same deadline as Regular Decision applicants.
