The Global Languages Program serves as a hub for language and cultural education across the university, bringing together students, scholars, and language instructors. Through its dedication to research-driven teaching methods and educational innovation, the Global Languages Program strives for excellence in language instruction and promotes continuous learning opportunities that extend beyond traditional classroom settings.

Reading Group “Africa Focus” (VCU-Q Arts & GU-Q)

This interdisciplinary reading group focuses on African expressive cultures, memories, and transculturalism. Based in Doha’s Education City (VCU-Q Arts & GU-Q), the initiative brings together faculty, Qatar Museums staff, and Doha Institute scholars to explore themes of memory and postmemory through African and Global South perspectives.
