In their Junior year, students can elect to spend a semester at one of Georgetown’s global locations: Doha, Qatar; Washington, DC, USA; or Florence, Italy. This impactful experience helps build independence and foster empathy while maintaining course progression and providing a safe environment for growth.

Study at Villa Le Balze in Florence, Italy
Georgetown’s Villa in Italy offers access to an ancient center of European culture while experiencing contemporary life in Italy. Students benefit from a carefully designed balance of academic coursework, co-curricular programming, and independent exploration and experience-building, underpinned by opportunities for continuous reflection.

Students studying at Georgetown in Washington, DC, are invited to spend a semester living in Qatar’s luxury dorms, learning from Qatar’s highly diverse student body, and experiencing life in the heart of the Middle East.
