If Georgetown is a masterpiece of campus design, then the Women’s Center is the hidden Easter egg you didn’t know you needed. Tucked away in a cozy corner near the student wellness team, and the Oasis Room (aptly named because it’s basically a spa day for your soul), the Women’s Center is the holy grail of self-care. And no, you can’t sit with us – unless, of course, you’re a woman.
After a year and a half of attending University, I thought I finally understood what it meant to be a Georgetown Student, to study politics and strive for academic excellence in a challenging environment. While those things stand true, there are many things left to be desired.
Starting my journey at Georgetown was exciting, but I never imagined it would lead to an adventure in Nepal within just two months of stepping foot in Qatar for the first time. When I found out I got selected for a fully funded, 10-day trip to Nepal under the Community Engagement Program, it was amazing news!

How was your summer? I still can’t believe that fall semester has begun and I am a junior! It’s been two years of writing and talking to you all and now I am entering the second chapter of being a student at Georgetown. Summer is every university student’s favorite time! It is an opportunity to reunite with family and friends, a space to research and intern, and most importantly travel.
For this piece, I want to discuss the art of debate, argumentation, and public speaking — something we heavily focus on at GU-Q. In today's fast-paced world, one needs to effectively communicate and express themselves, even in the face of diverging opinions.
It's been a while since we last connected, and I must admit, I've missed sharing my experiences with you. The past semester has been a whirlwind of adventures, both on and off campus. As I sit here reflecting on the memories, I can't help but wonder how you've been and what incredible stories you might have to share.
