Accessibility & Accommodations

At Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q), we are committed to Universal Design and Accessibility. We strive to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for all students and individuals visiting our building, including those with disabilities. GU-Q adheres to the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), and section 504 of the 1973 Office of Civil Rights Rehabilitation Act.

Academic Accommodations
The Office of Academic Success (OAS) in collaboration with the Student Wellness & Counseling Center (SWCC) assists students with diagnosed disabilities to apply for and access academic accommodations, in accordance with the ADA and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and based on recommendations from the Student Wellness and Counseling Center.
Student Wellness & Counseling Center
The Student Wellness & Counseling Center (SWCC) cares for holistic wellbeing of our community. Students are encouraged to take advantage of our one-on-one counseling sessions, various educational workshops, programs, and events. We also help students to explore their eligibility and apply for academic and non-academic accommodations to address their unique needs.
