Please join us for “On Palestine,” a Hiwaraat Symposium on Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 1:00 – 6:00 pm, in Al Mirqab Ballroom at the Four Seasons Hotel Doha.

“On Palestine” will feature leading Palestinian voices, and will be moderated by prominent broadcaster and author Mehdi Hassan. The symposium is organized around three thematic areas: justice and accountability, global media narratives and the shaping of public opinion, and avoiding traps in imagining a political future.

The Hiwaraat signature series, which convenes academic experts and practitioners around timely issues that are regionally and globally relevant, has had remarkable success, with five major conferences this past fall.
