Speakers

Salim Tamari

Salim Tamari is the former director of the Institute of Palestinian Studies, the editor of the Jerusalem Quarterly and Hawliyyat al Quds journals, and a sociology professor at Birzeit University. He has authored several works on Palestine, urban culture, political sociology, biography and social history, and the social history of the Eastern Mediterranean.

Zeina Jallad

Zeina Jallad is a legal consultant, researcher, and educator. Her body of work encompasses the fields of international law, human rights, social justice, rule of law, and gender justice. She holds an LL.M from Columbia University and is a member of both the Palestinian Bar Association and the New York City Bar. She was also the recipient of the Palestinian Presidential Golden Medal in 2021.
