In Remittance as Belonging, Professor Hasan Mahmud examines the human dimensions of global migration by exploring how remittances forge belonging, identity, and transnational connection. Moving beyond economics, the book looks at the emotional and social ties sustained through remittances and how they reshape our understanding of home and community.
