Mazen El-Masri is Associate Teaching Professor of Computer Science in the Science, Technology, and International Affairs program at Georgetown University in Qatar.
Previously, he was Associate Professor of Information Systems at Qatar University, where he coordinated the Master of Science in Business Analytics program. His teaching and research cover programming, data analytics, artificial intelligence, information security, blockchain, and management information systems. His research has appeared in Information, Communication & Society and Information Systems Frontiers, and he has led major projects on blockchain-based crowdfunding and trade finance.
He received his PhD in Management Information Systems from HEC Montréal.
