Lusail Museum Conversations returns with a lecture titled “Painting ‘Like a Man’: Orientalism and Women Artists in the Late Ottoman Empire,” featuring Dr. Gizem Tongo, research associate at the University of Oxford’s Khalili Research Centre and content advisor to Lusail Museum. The lecture will explore how women artists pushed against and worked around the boundaries drawn for them.
